Eric Padley

Eric Padley

 Eric has lived in Donnington for over 20 years, and describes it as a friendly location and very handy for all amenities. He hopes that by joining the Council he can help to keep it that way.  Eric spent the vast majority of his working life in County Councils.   

Mark Hitchin

Mark Hitchin

Mark moved to Donnington in 2011 after moving around the South a bit, but his formative years were spent in Worcestershire.

He work as a Software Engineer in the Marine Electronics industry and is married with a young son and daughter.

Donnington’s proximity to both the Downs and Harbour provide plenty of scope for adventure and he enjoys Sailing, Kayaking, Walking, Cycling & Camping in the area.

He’s keen to help maintain Donnington as a wonderful place to live.

 

Heather McDougall

Heather McDougall

Heather moved to Donnington in 2012, having grown up in Kent and then spent ten years studying Engineering in the Midlands.
She enjoys exploring the local area, and joined the Council to take a more active role in supporting the community.

Heather is currently Vice Chairman of the Council and has been heavily involved inn many loal projects, including the Build A Better A27 initiative, and DonTAG, the Traffic Action Group.

 

Anna Gaymer

Anna joined the Parish Council following the 2018 election.  She is our Playing Field rrepresentative, keeping an eye on the Wiston Avenue playing field. 

She is interested in provision for the youth of Donnington and the wider area.

Paul Morris

Paul Morris

Paul joined the Parish Council in July 2020.  Paul is a former post office worker, who is fairly new to the Donnington area.  He has lots of experience of local government through volunteer roles with Swindon Borough Council, and is a former Magistrate.  Paul believes in being involved with the local community, helping to ensure facilities are maintained and enhanced for the benefit of all residents.

Simon Davenport

Simon Davenport

Simon joined the Parish Council in July 2022.  Simon is a long time resident of Donnington having moved here in 1986 and worked locally in horticulture.  He is interested in local environmental and planning issues.

Jim Ellis

Jim Ellis

Jim joined the Parish Council in July 2022.  Jim has strong family ties to Donnington and moved here permanently a few years ago.   He has a professional background in engineering, and is a former reporter for Southern Water.  He hopes to use his experience to help Council in matters relating to the natural and built environment.
