New cookery workshop being launched

A new cookery course is being launched in the Chichester District this month. Chichester Wellbeing will be running an eight week programme to help families to cook cheap, healthy and tasty meals.

The course starts on Thursday 24 January from 3pm to 5pm at Selsey Town Hall.

It can help if you are:

·       new to cooking;

·       on a budget;

·       lack confidence in cooking;

·       finding it difficult to cook for yourself or your family; or

·       want to find out more about cooking and eating a healthy balanced diet.

Councillor Eileen Lintill, Cabinet Member for Leisure, Wellbeing and Community Safety at Chichester District Council, says: "You could be a mum wanting to improve the overall nutritional health of your family, or you may want to learn more about cooking on a budget. Our Wellbeing team would like to help you to cook cheap, healthy and tasty meals. It is a skill that will be useful throughout your life."
